So… I’ve been thinking. (Not necessarily a good thing ;p) I’ve been thinking about how I’ve been eating and decided that I’m going to do a better job.
In effort to help me I will help all of you! Sometimes even I feel overwhelmed about having to make food that is healthy for me. I don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen, since I spend so much time in there on a daily basis. I want to do a better job of eating but keeping it cost and time effective.
The other night I finished my dinner and still wanted some dessert. Instead of whipping out the container of ice cream, I made myself a little personal Blackberry Parfait. Super easy and it was only 3 ingredients!
Talk about easy! It only took a couple minutes which totally makes me happy.
What kind of parfait do you like? I typically put strawberries or some mango in mine.
I created a simple cleaning checklist for my Mom a few months back per her request. I liked it so much that I created one for myself too. Edited the colors and everything, but then life got a little hectic and never got around to using it. So I decided to revamp it and share it with y’all.
We were trying to figure out the best way to use this lovely list. Mom found a pretty picture frame in her closet of treasures and decided to print it off and stick it in there. Worked like a charm! Using a dry erase marker, makes it easy to cross off each item as it is completed. No fuss, no mess. That way she can keep track of things without having to print a new one up every day/week/month etc. (Sustainability — heck yeah!) Now I just need to find a frame to put mine in for my place.
