I interrupt your regularly scheduled Positive Quote Monday, to bring you an important update. Well, it’s important to me.
I know it took me awhile to tell all of you, but surprise!! I am super happy, and I had no idea. Literally early in the week Chris asked me if we had any plans on Saturday. Which we totally did, we were going to a Coyotes game with some of my lovely coworkers. We ended up having sushi before, which was fantastic!
Side note, the Sunday after Halloween I caught some weird stomach bug and could not keep anything down. I know gross, I didn’t feel good all week and that Saturday was the first time I actually felt kind of normal. Side note to the side note, I had a head cold all this past week so I was MIA for awhile, not by choice just trying to get my health back on track.
Anyways… back to what happened that night.
While we were eating I brought up wedding stuff (since we have already talked about getting married again) and he didn’t want to talk about it, which I thought was rather weird. I brushed it off and thought we would just talk about it later.. but little did I know we would haha. We went to the game, the Rangers the Coyotes and Chris forgot a jacket so he was rather cold, so we left early. We did our typical hanging out with the guys thing and I was with my girlfriend Heather just talking it up. I hadn’t seen her in a week so we definitely needed to catch up on things. It got a little chilly outside so we sat in her car. A little while later everyone needed to go inside, there was an announcement of some sort. Sure, whatever I will go inside seemed a little weird but alright.
Heather then told me to wait for everyone else to go inside first, instantly I was questioning it. Why am I being told to hold on, I can go in with everyone else. This. Is. Dumb. Get inside, she then tells me to stand “over here”. At this point I was really frustrated. I love you girl, but why are you telling me what to do?! I can do what I want! Haha.. Chris is then introduced to everyone by one of the guys saying that Chris had an announcement to make. I can’t compute anything that is happening… that is until he makes it down to on knee!!!
I obviously said yes! I couldn’t imagine a life without him ever again. I know it is going to sound really cheesy, but he completes me in no way anyone else can. If you want some kind of background about me and Chris, read my About Me. Now that I go back to it, I’m definitely going to have to update it here soon.I’m sure I will now be posting plenty of wedding stuff, so here is your warning for what comes ahead. Run while you still can, and/or join this journey with me that I am so happy to share with all of you!
