Last year was hard on me and really didn’t want to do a recap on the year, not exactly positive. However! Christmas was fantastic! I got to spend time with family that I haven’t seen in two years and haven’t spent Christmas with them in about a decade. A decade… that just blows my mind. Time sure does fly by.
At Christmas there were about a dozen of us and even more Christmas Eve! We had so much fun, eating, drinking and being merry. Being surrounded by my parents and some of my extended family was such a blessing. It definitely made me happy during such a hard time.
I was able to take my camera and took some pictures of the awesome, huge Christmas Tree.
Even got a view from the bottom. It’s different, never really see trees from this angle. A different, but nice look on the tree that houses our presents and many ornaments.
Emma (above) joined me outside when I went to take some pictures. Really glad I got outside (even though it was cold) and in my element. I miss being behind a camera and being outside.
Christmas with my family is just what I needed. It boosted me right into the New Year. I am so glad 2016 ended on a high note. On to 2017!
