For the last 3 years I have completely nixed the idea of having a tradition Christmas Tree (fake or real). I grew up with putting up a Christmas Tree with my family so it isn’t like I’m missing out. I just like doing things differently.
Last year, when we were in a 2 story house I decided to use one of our very large walls to be our Christmas tree. It made sense for us since there were 6 of us living in that house. Plus why not?! I used nails in the wall but for those who don’t want to put that many holes in the wall these Small Command Wire Hooks are a great alternative. I used those the previous year I just was either too committed to just getting the tree done one night that I didn’t want to go get more or I just didn’t want to leave the house (haha, who knows now).
The best part is that it was even easier to take down. That is my kind of decorating! This year I used my cut up garland from years before and just made a bow to go on top since I’m changing my decor from blue to red. I am so happy with the way it turned out. Super simple but super cute! The small command hooks work even better with this tree since you can’t see them.
How do you do your Christmas Tree?
